ACTi KCM-3911 Overview
The KCM-3911 is a hemispheric camera featuring video motion detection and two-way audio, making it possible to record audio as well as to remotely speak to those who are in the surveillance area. As is customary with hemispheric cameras, the KCM-3911 is capable of capture a 180°/360° panorama image of the space it occupies. Equipped with a mechanical IR cut filter and capable of recording black and white images in an area with a minimum illumination of just 0.05 lux at F2.8, the KCM-3911 surveillance is a excellent option for those who wish to monitor a large space throughout the day and night with just one camera. Weighing just 0.93 pounds and measuring 5.9” x 1.8”, the KCM-3911 can be mounted flush against a wall or ceiling, mounted as a pendant system, installed on a pole or even placed on a corner. Capable of operating in humidity ranging from 10% to 85% relative humidity and in temperatures ranging from 14° to 122° F, the KCM-3911 can withstand virtually any indoor condition. Powered through Power over Ethernet, or PoE, technology, the KCM-3911 can be placed in even the most remote locations where power may not otherwise be available. With its ability to create up to 6 cropped regions as independent channels, the KCM-3911 allows the user to choose between viewing a panoramic scene or viewing 6 specific areas independently. Yet, with a frame rate of 6 frames per second, its 2032 x 1920 resolution and the option to choose between H.264, MPEG-4SP and MJPEG compressions with dual streaming capabilities, the KCM-3911 is capable to suit a wide range of applications.
