ACTi KCM-5211 Overview

The KCM-5211 is a box camera capable of both day and night functioning and featuring a built-in f4.7-84.6 mm/F1.6 Megapixel DC iris zoom lens able to achieve up to an 18x optical zoom. Capable of operating in temperatures ranging from 14°F to 122°F and in relative humidity ranging from 10% to 85%, the KCM-5211 can function in a variety of settings and environments. Powered by Power over Ethernet, or PoE, technology, the KCM-5211 can even be used in the most remote locations where power may otherwise be unavailable.

Capable of creating up to 4 cropped regions as independent channels and featuring video motion technology, the KCM-5211 can effectively monitor several areas with just one camera. With its alarm trigger feature, the KCM-5211 automatically notifies the user with an email and a snapshot whenever motion is detected within the surveillance area. Yet, with its two-way audio, the KCM-5211 allows the user to communicate with anyone located in the area while also recording all sounds within the surveillance area. Weighing just 1.63 pounds, the KCM-5211 can be easily mounted in virtually any location where surveillance is necessary.

With its IR cut filter system, the KCM-5211 is capable of capturing color recordings in light levels as low as 0.1 lux at 1.6 and black and white recordings in light levels as low as 0.05 lux at F1.6 with an IR sensitivity range of 700 to 1100 nm. Offering a horizontal viewing angle of 48.94° to 3.61°, a resolution of 8 fps at 2032 x 1920, and the option to choose between H.264, MPEG-4SP and MJPEG compressions with dual streaming capabilities, the KCM-5211 can be used for a variety of purposes.
