ACTi KCM-5511 Overview

The ACTi KCM-5511 is a box style network camera featuring a 26x optical zoom and auto focus. Combined with the new Extreme Dynamic Range technology, the camera is capable of achieving quality images even in complex light conditions. Featuring adaptive profiles and 2D+3D digital noise reduction, or DNR, the ACTi KCM-5511 camera creates clear, grain-free images. With its IP66-rated cover, the ACTi KCM-5511 camera is water-resistant and capable of withstanding extreme weather conditions and temperatures. As such, this outdoor ready surveillance camera can capture quality images within a wide variety of different weather conditions and light settings. Featuring two-way audio technology, the ACTi KCM-5511 allows the user to listen to what is taking place in the surveillance area or to talk to those who are in the area. This is a convenient option for those who wish to remotely monitor the area as well as for those who wish to communicate with those who are located in the surveillance area. At the same time, with its Power over Ethernet, or PoE capabilities, the ACTi KCM-5511 can be easily used in a remote location where power may otherwise be unavailable. Due to the camera’s motion detection technology, the ACTi KCM-5511 records only when activity is detected in the area or when manually activated. This feature helps conserve storage space, thereby allowing the camera to last untended for an extended period of time. The stored data may then be used with dual-streaming H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG options.
