ACTi TCD-2100 Overview


The TCD-2100 is a one-channel H.264 video encoder offering video motion detection technology and capable of providing a resolution of 25/30 frames per second at full D1. With its alarm trigger three-region video motion detection system, the TCD-2100 automatically notifies control center and provides the user with an automatic email notification with a snapshot each time motion is detected within the surveillance area. The user may then choose to take action based on the photo or may complete a number of different actions from a remote location. Activities the user may choose to complete include uploading video and snapshots to an FTP server, commanding other devices and activating external devices through digital output.

Offering serial ports for PTZ control, the TCD-2100 meets Protocol Pelco-D, Pelco-P V1 and V2, Sony VISCA, Dynacolor and American Dynamics standards. The TCD-2100 further provides the user with the option of H.264, MPEG-4 SP or MJPEG compressions with dual streaming capabilities. With a bit rate of 28 Kpbs to 6 Mbps per stream, the TCD-2100 also offers privacy masking for four configurable regions and text overlay for user-defined text on video. The TCD-2100 further offers image enhancement capabilities through adjustable brightness, saturation and contrast.

Weighing just 0.43 pounds and measuring 4.06” x 1.12” x 2.99”, the TCD-2100 offers a compact design that is easy to integrate into nearly any location. Capable of operating in temperatures ranging from 14° F to 122° F and in humidity levels ranging from 10% to 85% relative humidity, the TCD-2100 can operate in virtually any environment where it might be needed.
