ACTi TCD-2500 Overview

The ACTi TCD-2500 is a single channel, triple codec video sever featuring MPEG4, MJPEG and H.264 video compression technologies. With the inclusion of H.264 video compression the amount of bandwidth required for high resolution, full motion video is greatly reduced in comparison to using MPEG4 or MJPEG video compression at similar settings. The TCD-2500 will allow for a single analog video feed to be connected for conversion to a digital IP video stream accessible via an Internet web browser or via the included network video surveillance software.

The TCD-2500 also features an analog video output that will allow for the inbound analog video feed to be looped outward for connection to standard analog devices. Other features on the TCD-2500 include video resolutions staring from CIF up to Full D1 video resolutions at 30 FPS, Two-Way audio support for full two way audio communication capabilities, as well as Wide Dynamic Range support for high contrast environments.
