ACTi TCM-6630 Overview

Replacing the CAM-6630, the TCM-6630 is a speed dome camera offering enhanced capabilities as compared to the CAM-6630. Whereas the CAM-6630 features a tilting range of -10° to 100°, the TCM-6630 increases the high-end to 190°. The TCM-6630 also features WDR and event handler capabilities, while also increasing the max bit rate from 3 Mbps to 6 Mbps. Furthermore, while the CAM-6630 only offers MPEG-A ASP compressions, the TCM-6630 offers the option to choose between H.264, MPEG-4SP and MJPEG compressions with dual streaming capabilities.
Offering both day and night functioning through a mechanical IR cut filter, the TCM-6630 can provide color recordings in situations where the lighting is as low as 0.1 lux as well as black and white recordings in lighting as low as 0.01 lux. With its built-in f3.4-122.4 mm/F1.6-4.5 auto iris zoom lens, the TCM-6630 offers 36x optical zoom coupled with a horizontal viewing angle of 57.8° to 1.7°. Offering two-way audio, 25/30 fps at full D1 resolution and video motion detection, the TCM-6330 allows the user to record quality images and sound while also talking to those who are located in the surveillance area. The TCM-6630 has the capability to preset point or patrol sequences with fast moving sweeps of up to 400 degrees per second or as slow moving as 5 degrees per second. It has full 360 degree rotations and -10 degree to 190 degree tilt for wide monitoring. A maximum of 256 reset points, 8 patrol sequences, 4 auto-pan sets, and 1 cruise rotation can be auto programmed to give the user flexibility for surveillance options yet up to 24 privacy zones can be configured to prevent intrusive monitoring of specific areas. Three different dome covers are available: a transparent vandal-proof dome cover, a transparent dome cover, and a smoke dome cover. Capable of monitoring motion in three different regions, the TCM-6630 provides the user with automatic email notifications containing a snapshot of the area any time motion is detected within the designated regions.
Encased in an IP66 weatherproof casing, the TCM-6630 is capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -49 °F to 122 °F as well as humidity ranging from 10% to 85% relative humidity. Weighing 12.9 pounds, the TCM-6630 can be mounted on a wall, in a corner, on a pole or even hung in pendant style in both indoor and outdoor situations. The TCM-6630 also has a variety of mounting brackets available to meet the needs of any demanding area: pole, corner, pendant, and wall mounts are all available.
