ACTi XNR-4200 Overview

The XNR-4200 is a standalone network video recorder capable of managing up to 64 IP cameras or video encoders. Offering full PTZ capabilities, the XNR-4200 allows the user to control the pan, tilt and zoom on all of its cameras while also establishing up to 32 preset recording points. The user may also set the cameras to record according to a user-defined schedule, to begin recording when the alarm event is triggered or to record when manually prompted. Regardless of when the recording takes place, the XNR-4200 is capable of recording at a maximum frame rate of 1920 frames per second, with a maximum of 30 fps devoted to each camera.

Offering both time-based and event-based video search options, the XNR-4200 allows the user to search through video recordings based on a specific time, event or bookmark. The XNR-4200 also allows the user to synchronize playback with four channels, to playback at speeds of 1x to 500x, to manually take a snapshot of the surveillance area and to digitally zoom in and out. The user also has the option to crop a short video clip and to save it as an independent file or to export a video with text overlay. The XNR-4200 is also capable of supporting H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG formats up to Megapixel resolution.

Weighing 24.64 pounds and measuring 19” x 3.5” x 22.1”, the XNR-4200 can be placed on a table or mounted on a rack. Capable of withstanding humidity variances ranging from 10% to 85% relative humidity and temperatures ranging from 32° F to 104° F, the XNR-4200 can operate effectively in virtually any indoor environment where it is needed.
