AXIS 212 PTZ-V Overview
The AXIS 212 PTZ-V network camera is designed to provide secure monitoring and excellent wide-angle vision. This camera is designed to resist attempts to vandalize the device and has motion detection built in. The device has pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) technology built into it that allows it to home in on part of a frame when a detailed view is needed. The AXIS 212 PTZ-V network camera is an ideal solution for large areas that need monitoring, such as retail store floors, warehouses, banks and schools.
The tough casing on the AXIS 212 PTZ-V network camera makes it suitable for monitoring in environments where vandalism is a risk, such as at schools. The camera’s motion detection allows the user to be alerted when someone comes into view. The device has a very wide, 140-degree field of view that allows it to capture an entire room, rather than a portion of the room, as is the case with many other cameras. The AXIS 212 PTZ-V network camera also has event management features that increase the flexibility where response is concerned.
Possessed of powerful networking features, the AXIS 212 PTZ-V network camera can support protocols such as Quality of Service (QoS) and HTTPS. The AXIS 212 PTZ-V network camera also supports both the IPv4 and IPv6 network addressing protocols.
