The AXIS M3014 fixed dome network camera can stream in the H.264 format. This allows the camera to consume very little bandwidth while still delivering very crisp images. The camera can also use the Motion JPEG format, if needed. The H.264 format can be altered to suit the action in the area being monitored. During times of low or no activity, the bit rate of the stream is automatically reduced to preserve network bandwidth. The AXIS M3014 fixed dome network camera delivers 1.3 megapixel quality images, ensuring that every detail is captured. The AXIS M3014 fixed dome network camera is destined to be easy to install. The camera can be powered directly from its Ethernet connection. Using Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, the need to locate electrical sockets or other hardware to power the camera is eliminated.
