AXIS M5014 Overview

The AXIS M5014 (0399-001) is the world’s smallest, ceiling mount dome network camera with pan/tilt/zoom functionality and HDTV performance capabilities. The camera facilitates the ability for security professionals to inconspicuously monitor and observe almost any indoor location. It provides an economical solution for banks, retail outlets, hotels and even office buildings in need of enhanced security functionality and with a need to resourcefully monitor or manage more than a single location simultaneously.
The lustrous and compact AXIS M5014 is little more than 5.1” wide by 2.2” high and affords superior image quality along with 360 degree monitoring capabilities, complete with HDTV 720p resolution. This is a surveillance camera that can fit in the palm of a hand, but those in the security industry shouldn’t be fooled by its size. Not only is the AXIS M5014 specifically engineered to utilize advanced motion detecting capabilities, it also contains a built-in microphone able to detect unusual noises during closed business hours to activate alarm functions to alert security staff.
This miniature surveillance camera is extremely user friendly and can be installed effortlessly on almost any surface. The mini PTZ dome camera is fully capable of monitoring wide areas and is both dust proof and water resistant.
Installation is a breeze given that the cameras operate on Power over Ethernet (PoE IEEE 802.3af) capable of supporting everything from power to video.
