AXIS P3301-V Overview

The AXIS P3301-V (0292-001) fixed dome network camera can provide surveillance for locations such as banks, schools, prisons and other high-security environments. This camera is designed to be discreet, featuring a compact design that allows it to blend into environment where it has to be installed in an exposed location. The AXIS P3301-V fixed dome network camera is suitable for any indoor surveillance needs, including those where low-light levels are a concern. Equipped with progressive scan technology, the AXIS P3301-V fixed dome network camera provides excellent image definition, even when objects are moving in low-light conditions. The camera can also send two streams over the network simultaneously. They may be sent in the H.264 format or in Motion JPEG format. The streams can be adjusted individually to accommodate bandwidth constraints. The camera has a wide dynamic range and supports the latest in network management technologies. The AXIS P3301-V fixed dome network camera is very tamper resistant, being enclosed in a tough dome. It is also able to detect motion, audio and to alert the monitor when attempts are made to spray paint or otherwise obscure the lens of the camera. This device supports Power over Ethernet. This allows the camera to receive power from its network connection, which makes the installation of separate power sources unnecessary. This reduces the cost of installation and simplifies the process.
