AXIS P3346-VE Overview

The Axis P3346-VE is a fixed dome camera designed for indoor and outdoor use. As with all cameras within the Axis P33 series, the P3346-VE offers superb video quality with a resolution of 3 megapixels, 20 fps and HDTV 1080p capture mode. With its revolutionary P-Iris control, the iris position auto-optimizes to obtain the depth of field and lens resolution necessary to obtain the clearest image possible. Utilizing a unique pixel counter feature, the Axis P3346-VE will automatically calculate the ideal pixel resolution for the face of a person who is passing through an area monitored by the camera. With its remote focus capability and its 360 degree pan, 160 degree tilt and 340 degree rotation capabilities, the Axis P3346-VE can be controlled from any location to achieve the optimal image. Furthermore, with its two-way audio streaming capabilities, the Axis P3346-VE makes it possible to listen to what is taking place in the surveillance area while also offering the ability to speak to anyone in the area from a remote location. Offering a variety of different installation options, the Axis P3346-VE can be easily placed in a variety of outdoor and indoor locations. In addition to being capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -40 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit, the Axis P3346-VE is also capable of operating smoothly in 15 to 100 percent relative humidity. The built-in heater and fan further prevents issues related to heat, humidity, or cold, while the weather shield provides protection from sunlight as well as build-up from snow and rain. With its alternative smoked transparent cover that can be used in place of the clear cover, the Axis P3346-VE offers additional flexibility of use.
