The AXIS P5534 (0314-004) PTZ dome network camera is an HD camera suitable for monitoring in indoor environments where dust and water are hazards. It carries an IP51 rating, ensuring that the camera is insulated against damage from dripping water and dust. This makes the AXIS P5534 PTZ dome network camera appropriate for use in locations such as malls, warehouses, public transit stations and schools. The camera is also capable of providing excellent images in conditions where light levels are very low. The AXIS P5534 PTZ dome network camera provides images that meet SMTPE standards for color fidelity and clarity. The camera uses the 16:9 format at a resolution of 1280x720 resolution. The camera is capable of delivering multiple streams over the network simultaneously. It uses both the H.264 and Motion JPEG formats. H.264 provides very clear images while minimizing bandwidth consumption. Motion JPEG ensures that that device is compatible with a wide range of other technologies. The AXIS P5534 PTZ dome network camera can pan 360 degrees without interruption. The camera also comes with Advanced Gatekeeper functionality. This allows the AXIS P5534 PTZ dome network camera to automatically follow moving objects and persons when they enter the frame. This camera is also provided with High Power over Ethernet technology and comes with a midspan for the device.
