AXIS P8513 Overview

Designed specifically for use in areas near building entrances, exits, and other pinch points, the Axis P8513 surveillance camera produces sharp images and excellent video quality. Built into a unique pole mount with a pinhole-size lens, it is designed to be placed at eye level without being noticeable to passers-by. As a result, the Axis P8513 leads the field in providing close-up pictures and video at face level, making it a great option for retail stores, banks, hospitals and any other area where high-quality, facial pictures and video are desired. With the pole mount available in black, white, and chrome, the Axis P8513 camera’s disguise goes a long way toward keeping it unnoticed by vandals.

Offering SVGA resolution in both MJPEG and H.264 streams, the Axis P8513 surveillance camera is capable of providing multiple H.264 video streams at full frame rate.
The Axis P8513 is easy to install at its optimized height of 160 cm, or 5.2 feet. In addition to providing quality video footage at eye level, the Axis P8513 features Power over Ethernet, or PoE, capabilities. With a pre-mounted Ethernet capable provided with the camera combined with its PoE technology, the Axis P8513 can be controlled and used from a remote location where power may otherwise not be available. With the camera’s advanced security and network management features, such as IPv6, HTTPS encryption with preserved performance, and Quality of Service, the user can take comfort in knowing that the transmitted data will not be intercepted and viewed by a third party.
