AXIS Q1755 Overview

The AXIS Q1755 network camera is designed for high-security usages where image clarity is of the utmost importance. With powerful zoom features and HD resolution, this camera provides crisp images and the ability to bring the smallest detail into focus. The camera is also provided with progressive scan technology that allows even fast motion to be captured in high resolution. With day or night functionality and the ability to receive power over its Ethernet connection, this camera is exceptionally flexible in terms of surveillance and installation.
The AXIS Q1755 network camera records images in HD format and transmits in either H.264 or Motion JPEG format. The camera is also capable of providing 10x optical zoom or of zooming in to 12x magnification digitally. The focal area is always crisp, thanks to the camera’s built-in autofocus capabilities. The camera retains its high image quality in low light conditions. This camera does have external storage capability in the form of a micro-SD slot right on the camera.
The AXIS Q1755 network camera has the ability to detect motion and sound. If someone attempts to sabotage surveillance by painting or blocking the lens, moving the camera or defocusing the lens, the AXIS Q1755 network camera will detect the attempt. The camera is also provided with IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities. This means that the camera can draw its power directly from the network, eliminating the need for separate wiring.
