AXIS Q1755-E Overview

The AXIS Q1755-E network camera is designed to provide crisp images and motion capture in outdoor surveillance situations. The camera is ideal for areas where close-up detail is needed on moving objects, such as parking lots, public transit stations, airports and government facilities. This camera is fully weatherproof, being rated to IP66 standards, and is capable of providing day or night surveillance coverage, making it a good choice for outdoor environments where weather conditions are harsh and where surveillance needs to be conducted around the clock.
The AXIS Q1755-E network camera features 10x optical zoom capabilities. Digital zoom capabilities are up to 12x magnification and the focus is very crisp. The camera can record in two HD formats. Users may opt for 720p resolution or 1080i resolution for the clearest image capture possible. The camera delivers video on the H.264 format or in Motion JPEG format at full frame-rate. This camera has powerful autofocus capabilities and is compatible with pan and tilt motors.
The AXIS Q1755-E network camera can receive its power over its Ethernet connection. The IEEE 802.3af compatibility means that the camera can be powered up wherever it can be connected to an Ethernet cable, vastly increasing the flexibility of the camera where locating the device is concerned. It is also provided with external storage. Should it be disconnected from the network, the camera’s SD/SDHC card slot provides another option for storage. The camera is also equipped with Axis’s Arctic Temperature Control feature.
