AXIS Q6032-E (0318-004) PTZ Dome Network Camera Overview
The AXIS Q6032-E (0318-004) dome network camera is IP66 rated for weather protection. The device can function at temperatures ranging from -40 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. The camera can power up at -40 degrees, as well, ensuring that monitoring resumes following a power outage. This camera is suitable for monitoring challenging outdoor locations. These locations include airports, parking lots, perimeters and city monitoring. The camera has day and night functionality, providing 24 hours of security for the user. This camera is housed in a sturdy dome that provides protection from the elements. If an object or a person moves through the frame, the AXIS Q6032-E dome network camera will automatically follow. The device has a powerful zoom lens, which provides 35x of optical magnification and 12x of digital magnification. The camera can capture clear, readable images of small objects such as license plates at over 500 feet. The camera is also capable of tilting to a full 20 degrees above the horizon. This makes it suitable for applications where terrain and constructed objects provide hindrances to clear lines of sight. The AXIS Q6032-E dome network camera can transmit two streams at once. It uses the H.264 format. This format saves bandwidth but also provides very high-quality images. The AXIS Q6032-E dome network camera is also provided with an Application Programming Interface (API) and has onboard flash memory for embedded applications.
