WAVE has a few different type of licenses - all of which can be mixed and matched in a single system for maximum flexibility when designing and implementing a WAVE System.
License Types:
Pro Recording License (WAVE-PRO)
- Enables recording of captured video.
- One license channel per camera.
- Cannot be activated on ARM servers.
- Never expires.
Encoder License (WAVE-ENC)
- Enables recording of captured video from an encoder.
- Never expires.
Video Wall License (WAVE-VW)
- Enables 2 remote monitors to be controlled.
- One license for every 2 monitors. Use multiple licenses to create a large video wall.
- Can be activated on any server.
- Never expires.
Embedded Recorder License (WAVE-EMB)
- Enables search, playback, and backup from Hanwha NVR recorders.
- Can be activated on any server.
- Never expires.
IP I/O Module License (WAVE-I/O)
- Enables control and recording of a single I/O module.
- One license channel per one I/O module.
- Can be activated on any server.
- Never expires.
Trial License (Timed License)
- An expiring license which can be used to demonstrate or test all WAVE features (except Video Wall).
Video Wall Trial License (Video Wall Trial License)
- An expiring license which can be used to demonstrate or test the WAVE Video Wall feature.
