Vivotek FD7132 Overview
The FD7132 fixed dome network camera is an ideal solution for day or night indoor monitoring applications. The device is provided with its own infrared illuminators that cast illumination up to 50 feet around the device. It comes with a flexible mounting system and can be powered via the Ethernet connection. The FD7132 fixed dome network camera is suitable for use in high-security areas such as banks, residential buildings and other situations where a wide area of coverage is needed.
The FD7132 fixed dome network camera can support HTTPS encryption. Two-way audio is provided via the SIP protocol. The FD7132 fixed dome network camera features a 3-axis hinge mounting mechanism that allows it to be installed in very challenging locations. It features a passive infrared motion detector that uses heat information to locate objects moving in the area of coverage, even if the light conditions are very low. The removable IR-cut filter slides away automatically during low-light surveillance and slides in place during normal conditions, preventing IR light from interfering with the images captured.
With a 3.3-12mm vari-focal lens, the FD7132 fixed dome network camera ensures that you can catch all of the action in the area being monitored. It provides high-quality video that is compressed via the MPEG-4 or MJPEG codec on the fly. The FD7132 fixed dome network camera can also provide two simultaneous streams over the network. The compression ensures sensible use of the network bandwidth.
