The SD8313E is a high performance day/night speed dome network camera designed with professional surveillance applications in mind. Vivotek's SD83xx series of network cameras are especially well suited for monitoring wide open indoor/outdoor spaces such as airports, highways, parking lots, and shopping malls, where high-level reliability and precision are demanded to monitor crowded and active environments. The SD8313E offers exceptional video quality with 36x optical zoom and resolution up to 60fps at 720x480. It also supports high-performance H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG compression technology. As with all of Vivotek's true day/night cameras, the SD8313E features a removable IR-cut filter to maintain clear images 24 hours a day. Boasting WDR Pro technology and backlight compensation, the SD8313E cuts through challenging lighting conditions to produce stellar image quality. It also has a built-in Electronic Image Stabilizer to give its video picture an edge in clarity. With Vivotek's sophisticated pan/tilt mechanism, the camera view provides quick and precise movement with continuous 360-degree pan and 90-degree tilt. The lens can be easily positioned via a mouse or a joystick to track the object of interest or to set up to 128 preset positions for directed patrolling. It is also programmable for auto pan or auto patrol modes. Vivotek maximizes the flexibilty of their SD83xx series by offering two different length pendant mounts and a recessed bracket mount beyond the included wall mount. The built-in SD/SDHC card slot offers a convenient and portable storage option to prevent data loss in case the network disconnects and can store snapshots or video clips.
